One of the ways we invest in our patients, is by investing in our equipment. Some improve our ability to see things, and carry our work effectively. Others improve your comfort providing you with a clear understanding of your dental status. Here is a list of some of our equipment.
It used to be that when your Dentist wanted to let you know what is going on inside your mouth, he took a look around and verbally described what they saw, perhaps in a mirror. But now thanks to a wonderful new technology called the Intra-Oral Camera, you can relax in your chair, whilst simultaneously observing a real-time movie of the inside of your mouth, on an adjacent computer monitor. It makes it simple to use and understand. You can request a print out of the interesting bits. The camera is a great hit for our Hygienists.
A funny pair of glasses which Dr Ruparelia uses. These are surgical telescopes that allow him to see and evaluate intricate details as he works. It really shows the details that is missed by the naked eye. This makes his work a lot easier, and provides for the patient a perfection to treatment.
A lot of our time is spent looking at dark corners of the mouth. We have installed handpieces which have a bright fiber-optic light that shines up the area of the mouth Dr Ruparelia is working in. Another step for making our work easier, and for our patients, a step towards perfect treatment.
